Kroger trip 4/8

Ok, let's track that $50 grocery budget of mine! Here's my trip to Kroger for this week...

2 Bob Evans sausage- 2/$5

                      Use 2 $0.35/1 (no longer available)

3 1 lb. rolls Ground Round ground beef- $3.69ea.  

                      Use $1/1 meat department (Kroger mailer)

Hormel Beef Roast microwave meal- $4.49

                       Use $1/1 (no longer available)

Broccoli- $0.92

4 Ears Sweet Corn- $1.20

2 Sweet Potatoes- $1.29

Trip Summary: $21.07 out of pocket. SAVED $9.02 thats 29% and I have $28.93 left for Giant Eagle and Meijer! It's looking pretty promising so far :) We'll see how it looks after I re-work the Giant Eagle shopping list and check out the new Meijer ad.
