Budget Update!!

So, I know I left y'all hanging while I was cutting my budget back. I wanted to update you on where I am and what I've been doing. My goal earlier this year was to get to $100 a week, and I was trying to do that while building my stockpile and cooking 3-4 times a week.

On the plus side, I've only been spending about $65/week for the past couple months. Awesome, right?!

The downside? I've only been cooking maybe one night a week....and my poor stockpile is diminishing. :(

This definitely has something to do with the lack of car since BOTH of our cars broke down at the same time :/ Thankfully one is up and running well and the other should be by the end of the month also. I had cancelled my subscription to the paper because it was more reliable to just go to the gas station and buy one....well, without a car I couldn't do that anymore. So all of July I have had no new coupons :( ---I did just order a stockpile starter kit from Insert Insanity, which comes with 4 of every insert from all 4 weeks of July! (It was only $26.99!! If I bought the papers that would have cost $36, and not been shipped straight to my door. Plus I would be wasting sooo much paper! I might just order inserts from there all the time...with my survey money!! Haha)

HOPEFULLY I'll be back in the swing of things this week. Or after vacation. Definitely by the end of the month. I really need to build up my stockpile again...except shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash and toothpaste...I think I'm set for a couple of years!! LOL.

I'm not going to post match ups anymore...I find it tedious and a waste of time, really. Instead I'll give you the top 25 deals (maybe more...) each week across CVS, Walgreens, Giant Eagle, Kroger, Target, Meijer and occasionally Kmart and Walmart. If there's another store you want me to include, let me know!! And if there's somewhere you really want to see a match up for, tell me...I will at least share someone else's match up for you! I'll probably continue to post the *Shop For Free* lists that come out every week...I love those!

So you can expect to see a post every week, starting now...again...about my budget :)

When I get back into it and am finding all the deals, I'll start with the top 25 list.

And, starting tomorrow, we will be organizing our coupon binders!! **Really, it seems pointless to start now, as I'm getting a new binder in a few weeks...but I will NOT get as disorganized as I was before!!**
