Upcycle Kool Aid Canister- Snowman!

Adorable, right? He still needs a hat, but I couldn't wait to post my tutorial. I'll take pics along the way with the next one, baby girl was trying to eat the puffy paint :)

It's super simple, took me all of 5 minutes after the glue gun was warmed up. Here's what I did:

1. Wash and dry an empty Kool Aid canister

2. Use the glue gun to secure the lid

3. Wrap the canister twice with quilt batting (got mine at Hobby Lobby for $2.50)- glue it together at the ends.

4. I left a little extra batting at the bottom to cover it, and glued that to the bottom too.

5. Wrap a ribbon (or felt or whatever) around the skinny part for a scarf. Glue or tie it together

6. The rest I did with puffy paint and glitter glue. I put silver glitter glue dots all over to make him sparkle, an orange puffy paint carrot nose, and gold puffy paint eyes, mouth and buttons. You can use whatever you like for these- felt, paper, buttons, googly eyes...get creative!

7. Finally, add a hat made of felt or a baby hat or whatever you can find (I'm making him a hat) and glue it to the top.

Viola!
