Kroger trip 4/1

Phew! It has been a busy day so far! Spent my morning clipping and organizing this weeks coupons, well, semi-organizing ;). Then made a couple weeks worth of rice cereal for the little one, and FINALLY ran to Kroger to catch the few deals I wanted. The circular said they had split chicken breasts for $1.49/lb, but actually those were leg and thigh packs, so I will be getting my chicken from Giant Eagle this week where it's $1.99/lb. I also tried to get a deal on Peeps by stopping at WalMart, where they were only $1! Too bad for me, they only had purple, pink, and blue...I need yellow ones to make my sunflower cake :(

Anyway...here's what I got at Kroger today.

Transaction 1: 2 bags Nestle dark chocolate morsels 2/$5, use $0.75/2 from 3/25 SS
                                           Paid $3.50, got back $1 yourbucks

Transaction 2: Kroger sandwich buns-                   $0.99
3 half gallons of milk 5/$6-            $3.60
Use $1 off from Transaction 1
                                          Paid $3.59

Total spent= $7.09 for $13.94 worth of groceries! That's almost 50% off :)
